Hi JP.
Yes, I first select FSipanel from the toolbar at top of screen at which time I get the connecting dialog, I then click on the FSipanel icon I have pinned to my taskbar and FSipanel starts a few seconds later. FSipanel does not start by just selecting the icon at the toolbar.

But it never does, it just sits there and never says connected.

Or am I supposed to go to task bar after starting from the toolbar even though it still says “connecting”?

I just get the blue status connecting message at top left but nothing happens unless I go to the task bar and launch from there.
Totally new to MSFS so getting easily confused compared to P3D

Sorry to report that after extensive testing of the NGXu in my sim from clean reinstall of sim to completion of addon installs without any problems or abnormalities, as soon as I attempt to use FSiPanel, P3D hangs. sometimes it will allow me to complete one approach but hangs on any further ...
