Re: Plane not waiting for 3 seconds braking

I found the issue!
The offset value of 0xBC4 is sometimes undefined random non-zero at startup of my pc, windows and msfs2020.

How I can make it work:
Before pressing the AC button in FSIPanel press the brakes a short time.
Now the value is well defined zero.
And the plane waits for me.

So it is an initialization issue from MSFS2020 and/or windows 11.
So now the point is how to fix that.

Never heard of that! I just load the plane and fly and I guess other pilots as well.

Do you have a special hardware or addon that initialize the simulator?

J-P,

No special HW, only Logitech flight pedals, yoke and throttles.

SW:
Windows 11 +latest updates installed
FSUIPC7 (v7.4.16)
FSIPanel (v1.0.0.104)
MSFS2020 (v1.37.19)
PMDG737-700 (v3.0.100)

I start MSFS2020 through FSUIPC7

What do you mean ?

Normally you should start MSFS with the 737 on the runway, ready to depart, then Start FSiPanel

Yes, that is exactly what I do.
BTW with or without FSUIPC7, the effect is the same.

If you install FSUIPC7, you get a shortcut on your desktop where you also start MSFS2020.

I start MSFS2020 through the FSUIPC7 shortcut on my desktop.
Sorry for the confusion

I will make a special version that will log the brake pressure, we will then be able to see precisely what value is sensed.

OK, can't wait to see it.
I'm very curious.

Could it have something to do with USB initialization in windows 11 (a setting or so)?
It must be my system.

Can you try something:

- unplug all your joysticks
- Start MSFS, 737 and start a flight with FSiPanel.

When asked to hit brakes, use your mouse to set the parking brake, this will do the trick.

Working?

No it does not work.

I removed all controllers except keyboard and mouse.
I assigned a mouse button to "SET PARKING BRAKE".
Start the flight on the runway with FD on.
Select Fix.
Pressed FSIPanel "Move AC".
The aircraft almost immediately flies away and does not wait for set parking brake.
Offset value 0xBC4 is 0x0 at start.
