Landing training with COWS DA42 IV

I have recently had a problem with the COWS DA 42 IV during landing training. Everything is normal until I am prompted to apply the brakes. However, activating the brake does not work. On the FSI-Panel SIM CONTROLS page, the FREEZE indicator is green. When I click on it, it turns white and I can continue flying. Strangely, the message YOU HAVE CONTROL appears the first time I touch down on the runway. The landing report does not appear then either.
The DA 42 is the only aircraft that does not work. I have tested MSFS 2020, MSFS 2024 and BETA 2. Unfortunately, I can't say exactly since when this has been happening, I have now made many flights with other aircraft and FSI panels. It may be related to an update of the DA 42 that was released recently.

Hi,

Can you try to set the parking brake briefly to take control?

Cheers,

oh this is an addon by COWS? Not the ASOBO DA42.
Did you import it as custom aircraft?

Hello J-P,
yes, it is the COWS DA-42 IV, current version 1.2.0a.
I have just tested in MSFS 2024. No reaction with the normal brake and the parking brake. The configuration of the control assignments is also correct.
I suspect a change in the last update of the machine. Changes were made to the brake there, see changelog.
Maybe that will help.
Thank you for your efforts

Hi,

I have added a button on main Screen next to Move AC to take control,
this should override your brake issue.

Regards,

J-P
