Scenarios P3D Advanced Edition Active Sky connection

Hi all,

I am trying to run scenario 1 for FSLabs on P3Dv5. I am using the procedure sequence as published but once I select Start Training the weather does not get injected into the sim. Are there any more specific Active Sky or P3D settings required? Active Sky shows connected with P3D. I tried both Live mode and Historical mode. But the Weather button does not change into ActiveSky so there seems to be no connection between PSiPanel and Active Sky even though I started Active Sky first.

When I select the Send Weather button, nothing happens either.

Best regards,

Vincent

PS the Scenario set QNH was preselected to 1022 on the FSiPanel UI, while it states 1032 on the pop up window.

Hi,

Do you have ActiveSky running on the same computer as FSiPanel?

Cheers,

Ok, If you do the following :
  • Start ActiveSky
  • Start P3D
  • Start FSiPanel
Do you see a green ACTIVE SKY button on FSiPanel main screen?

if not, can you check under ActiveSky / general options / http web request port that you have 19285.

Thanks you JP,

The port number was causing the problem. Everything is working fine now. It was a lot of fun to run the scenario.

PS: at the end when the ATC box shows Fire Services are on their way, maybe for UGCX users you could send a command to UGCX so a fire truck actually arrives as well (:

Great !
On the next update, you will be able to enter ActiveSky PORT in FSiPanel for non-standard config.

I have to look at UGCX, I don't know it :-)

Cheers,
