Default 787 drops while "press brakes" message is displayed

Hi JP, hope all is well.
With the default Asobo/Working Title 787:
FSiPanel preps for the approach, positions aircraft, and displays the ready message (press brakes for 3 seconds to take control).
About once in five approaches, before I take control, the aircraft starts losing altitude, straight down, no forward movement. Drops at about 500 feet per minute (very rough estimate). The attitude (deck angle) stays about the same. It just starts losing altitude before I take control (press brakes message is still being displayed). If I let it be, it will get to ground level.
Just to test it, I have pressed brakes and taken control real quick when I saw the aircraft dropping. No issues, flew the approach correctly.
Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.
Michael
