Fenix Failure Setting not accurate

Hi there,

I am having a problem setting failures with FSI Panel in the Fenix.

It is not selecting the correct failure and arming conditions, it seems to jump around and press the buttons too fast, so more often than not it sets the wrong failure in the MCDU.

Ive set the speed slider in settings to max delay, but this only seems to affect the typing speed?

Is this a known problem? And are there any fixes?

Many thanks.

Hi,

No issues on my side and no other reports about that.
Could you tell me which failure fails to activate for example, I will then give it a go.

Regards,

J-P

Thanks for the swift reply.

Unfortunately no longer at the PC, but I have tried many, eg programming an engine to fail and got a door problem, tried an IR fail and got something else.

Annoyingly I did try and get a video to show you, but whenever I do it in a controlled measure and watch the MCDU whilst not doing anything else at all, it works fine. So perhaps this is the problem. But it I have to do it in slow-time on the ground I may as well just press the buttons myself.

I’ll endeavour to get you some better info.

Many thanks

Thanks for the feedback, maybe your computer is already running close to its limit? And when flying, input in the MCDU are not taken into account?

Inputs generally in the MCDU work fine, I can do FSIpanel repositions for approaches absolutely fine and it sets up the flight plan/weights, it’s just programming failures where button misclicks seem to happen.

Just like when you ask an engineer out for help, it magically fixes itself. Haven't been able to replicate since I've asked :D
