Hello.
I installed FSiPanel msfs2020 yesterday for msfs2020 on windows 11
Using the inbuilds a320neo default aircraft.
If I load a short final ils approach anywhere that has one. It doesn't configure properly. By the time it tells me to take control the aircraft is on the ground with Spoilers extended.
If I load a long final ils approach anywhere that has one. It also doesn't configure property. By the time it tell me to take control the aircraft is at the right atl but its slowly spinning to the right on the spot and once I take control and click AP Approach button it does capture.
I've looked everywhere and can't find anyone with a similar problem. I can't be the only one surely.
I use Thurstmaster Warhog HOTAS
Please help.
Kind regards
Jim

Hi,
Did you restart MSFS as instructed after the wasm module was installed?

Re: New customer. App not working properly so unusable.
Thank you so much for your quick response.
I did restart the whole PC after installation
I didn't have msfs2020 loaded up when installing the apk. Would this effect it?
I did watch a tutorial of yours about using the a320neo but not the one in the link you provided.
When I get home from work in a couple of hours I will uninstall and reinstall the apk although I have done that twice already.
I will also watch the vid on the link provided.
A quick question tho please.
I use a Thrustmaster Warhog HOTAS and also 3 logitech panels (FID, Multipanel(AP) and Switch panel) Do these conflict with your apk? Or maybe their drivers do.
I hope I can get this working soon. Wasted 3 hours on this last night. I brought this to save me time hehe.
Kind regards
Jim

Hi,
Should not interfere, FSiPanel is monitoring the thrust levers position to start the flight.
If correctly detected in CLB, it will start, if not, you will wait 5 minutes and have the same outcome.
Let me know later when you tried it.
Cheers,
J-P

Hi J-P
The short answer is it works, as intended and may I say bravo sir
What an incredible tool.
First off I only brought this for ILS approach flare training so I've only tested ILS landings.
Basically I was using the Airbus a320neo not the V2 from the vid link you sent above.
Following the tutorial vid on the original Airbus a320neo is where I went wrong. It's 3 years old and the starting procedures must have changed as MSFS2020 has been updated I guess.
So I had to rewrite your starting procedure. Not much has changed but you have to use live pause and must input the ils frequency and heading into the fmc for it to use the ILS approach. You can't just push APR anymore like you say in your vid.
I also tested the B747-8i and 787-10 as their vids were also 3 years old.
Again these have also changed with the need for live pause and programming of the fmc. Both are slightly different when it comes to the fmc but I worked it out. With these you won't use the ILS frequency or heading. But the ICAO and runway of your chosen training airport. Pop the ICAO into Dest and execute. Then to the route or Dep/Arr page depending on the aircraft and choose the runway you want and execute. Now its populated the ILS frequency and heading for you. I couldn't do it manually.
I tried the PMDG 777-300ER and boy that worked like a dream and so fast. No live pause or anything. Obviously you worked on this one recently so its perfect.
I have many of the other payware aircraft you have listed as compatible so I was test them as I move to different aircraft for landing practice.
I did try some payware aircraft not listed. a318 and a319 and CS b767-200
They all worked. Obviously I had to configure the A/T and fmc but that only took seconds.
I've not come across a payware aircraft that it not worked on yet.
I tried it on some freeware aircraft. Some worked some didn't but that is no surprise.
The issue I had was I couldn't release the brakes after a 3 second pull. The aircraft would just sit there. I even tried to close the apk but the aircraft would just fall slowly out of the sky.
Do you know of a way to bypass the 3 second brake thingy?
In the end I've leant more about both Airbus or Boeing fmc's than I knew before so time not wasted.
If you want me to update you on what aircraft with AP and fmc's do and don't work as I go through them I'd be happy to.
Sorry for the long reply
Great work
Thanks for the fast responses
Kind regards
Jim
