Pro : does allow, with a lot of limitations, to practice some approaches and failures (mainly by using existing PMDG failure menu with some extra alt/ias/etc triggers)
Cons : unstable software very prone to crashing itself and/or the sim. (High end PC by the way). Very basic and buggy interface for a 50USD software.
Overall, freeware level, sold for the price of a pro software.
I know this will not be puslished but at least you guys get some feedback.

First of all I think you did a incredible job with this tool. I am very happy with it and tried the most challenging RNAV Z 15 approach into Paro Airport (VQPR). Of course at takes a lot of practicing. But your tool comes in very handy. I like it a lot.
I also installed the SU10 beta to test everything out. Unfortunately FSiPanel crashes to desktop without warning the moment I press one of the position buttons. It doesn’t matter which plane I use (PMDG or FBW). I hope you are aware of that. Other than that. It is a great addition of tools to have. Thanks a lot.

I think it really is great. Regarding failure management I would love to be able to move the failures tab or indeed the whole IOS (instructor station ) to an external device, for example the iPad in order to practise approaches and conditions with friends. You can also practice STARs or pattern approaches helping to perfect your technique. The landing report also gives great feedback. Hi. I have rated my experience of FSiPanel as 3 though I was bordering on 4 so I suppose really I am about a 3.75, for the following reasons.
I have had difficulties in linking the fsipanel app to the fenix A320 aircraft that I mainly use in the sim.
There aren’t many user videos that explain how to use fsipanel.
I could not get the STAR procedure to work (though this has now been rectified with a new youtube video that was released recently)

Hi, Setting MCDU for a STAR is a pilot duty based on Airbus procedure. As you said a video has been released to show how to update MCDU with your desired STAR.

– Graph at Approach Course Deviation there is no variation of red line but always in line with black line. Hor Deviaton label units not specified
– Text disappears when the window is reduced in size. Sub headings and Tab fonts are difficult to see then.
– At hand over when selecting the brakes for start, would be nice to have a message or time frame for the user to configure switches and controls when required, as doing so while the sim is configuring would result in errors

I am enjoying the FSiPanel and its behaviour is very similar to the professional full-motion commercial simulators that I have seen.
However, I would love to see a few more developments in the software, namely:
– more control of the default aircraft loads (ZFW & fuel) to allow more realistic landing performance.
– an option to position the aircraft on the runway (ready for take-off)
– and more training scenarios, please!
Overall, this is an excellent product which has enhanced my enjoyment of MSFS.

Concept is great. With Fenix it sometimes goes into toga lock before it has got to the correct start position. Also a touchdown noise at 100ft. Today at EGPF 23 the landing report said 5m to right of centreline every time, even though it was either on centreline or to the left. A terrific programme though as it saves a huge amount of time when practising landings.

FSI Panel makes it easy to practise different types of landings, without having to manually set up the plane each time. I also find it great to use when I don’t have time for a full flight.
The landing report is a real bonus and tells me how well (or badly!) I have done, by commenting on four main aspects of the landing, along with how well I adhered to the glide path.
In my view, it is a “must have” product and well worth the cost.

I am pleased with my FSiPanel 2020. I use it mainly for Long Final Landing in PMDG 737-700. It is so much better to quickly set up for another landing, particularly after one which was not satisfactory. With FSi 2020, I do not have to wait an hour or so to test my landing skills. Outstanding and works great! I use it both with the PMDG 737-700, and the Fenix A320. Works great for both. I think patience is key – as long as I don’t try to rush all the things that FSiPanel is doing to set things up, and let it do it, I can usually do a short approach every 10 minutes. I got in 8 short approaches in an hour the other night practicing my landing technique. This tool is PERFECT for practicing landings with complex aircraft (simple too of course). Highly recommend. I also love the landing report, helps me learn what I need to do to get better. Great product and happy customer! Thanks!

It is also great to work with many different platforms and aircraft such as Fenix, FlyByWire, InBuilds. It is a perfect application for pilots who want to use it for training purposes which Airbus Type Training, LPC/OPC check/examinations are approaching soon. Definitely I suggest FSIPANEL for all Airbus FOs and Captains.

I was amazed when I learned about this product (I only recently got interested in airliner flying). I read some reviews, watched some videos, and bought it. I wanted to practice approaches and landings in the Fenix A320, but simply starting in flight doesn’t work well as it can for simpler aircraft. FSiPanel lets me quickly set up many approach and landing scenarios. It works well and is fun. The training and support and demo videos are very well done and helpful.

I use the Fenix A320. Sometimes, FSIPanel loads the approach and I get a message that I only need to apply the brakes (3 sec.), but then nothing happens. Also, when I use a STAR and successfully load the airplane and take over the controls, I notice that although the plane is located before the initial STAR position, the flight plan is not loaded correctly with the default final approach instead of the STAR waypoints. I then have to re-do the flight plan before un-pausing the sim. The app requires changing the entire approach to do a non-ILS approach. Otherwise, I find your app to be quite brilliant and have informed my flight-sim friends of such!

As a real line pilot, the FSI panel trains you in realistic scenarios. Each year, we have some simulator sessions to maintain our currency, and the logic of FSI panel closely resembles what examiners use inside the Full Flight Simulators. Every penny is worth it!
