No airplane detected in P3Dv4

Hello,

I just installed the new FSiPanel 2020. It is running fine, connected to P3Dv4. But is doesn't detect any aircraft.
I tried PMDG 737NGXu, PMDG 777, iFly 737, Aerosoft Airbus, but none of the aircraft is being detected by FSiPanel 2020.

My troubleshooting tab seems to be ok?




What could be the route cause? How to solve the problem?

Hi,

Thanks for your report.
Could you post a picture of your FSiPanel 2020 directory?

I suspect a wrong version of Simconnect DLL.

Do you have P3D v4 and v5 installed on the same computer?

One other pilot had same issue and the reason was an old version of P3D v4 installed.

Latest is 4.5 HF2, please double check your version.

I'm still using P3Dv4.4 and not the latest version 4.5. As I had trouble with some of the add-ons under 4.5, I switched back to 4.4. So I would prefer if we really can exclude any other reason for the problem before I trie again to install 4.5.

Hi Detlef,

Lockheed Martin is not providing anymore SDK for old versions of P3D unfortunately.
What is your exact version if you check on the menu About in P3D ?

I'm using P3D 4.4.16.27077
SimConnect Version 4.4.0.0

Ok Detlef,

we can try something but without guarantee..
Replace LockheedMartin.Prepar3D.SimConnect.dll actual version with the one used by your sim version.

To do that:

• Download the file below

• Replace the 2 DLL in the ZIP files in FSiPanel 2020 directory

Then Start P3D and FSiPanel, any better ?
