Problem with the default airliners

Post by Chanticleer »

As a new user to FSiPanel, I have been going through several of the video tutorials, trying to follow exactly what J-P does. After trying several combinations of airports, runways, approaches, etc., I cannot get any of the default MSFS airliners to work. They exhibit very odd behavior like falling out of the sky (both during prep and after gaining control) or landing in the grass or neglecting to drop landing gear or not stopping on runway after me standing on the brakes. The PDMG 737-800, FBW A320, Headwind A330 and the new A310 all work beautifully, but the B747, B787 and Asobo A320 don't work. I don't own the Fenix A320 so I don't know if it works on my setup or not.

I'm following the videos as closely as I can. Any ideas what I may be missing?

Hi again,

just tried the 787, no issue.

Can you check that video below and tell me what are the differences on your system.

Bonjour J-P,

Sorry to use this thread for a question which has nothing to do with current subject, but only related to your YT video. Please feel free to move my post wherever you believe is the most suitable section of this forum.

Then, could you please share what is your computer configuration in terms of CPU, RAM and Graphic card?
Indeed, for me, just to have the aircraft on the runway takes ages (about 10mn, at least). So I believe it is time for me make some investment if I want to use MSFS + Fenix + FSiPanel more often... :geek:

By the way, what a pleasure to see again the 787 flight panel... I really miss it

Hi again, J-P. Thank you very much for taking the time to have a look at the problem I'm having with some of the default airliners. I put together a set of 4 videos showing 1 success and 3 failures with both the B787 and B747 at different airports. I have never created or uploaded videos to YouTube before so please forgive the terrible quality. Someday I will have to learn to do it correctly! :P

Here are the links to those videos. They are listed in the order I created them.

Thanks for the info J-P. That’s most probably the RAM that makes the boot-up of the software so fast.
Can't afford that much as I wish a to stay on a laptop, 32GB would be a maximum, to keep prices - almost - reasonable. :?

Hi Ron,

Many thanks for the videos, nicely done.
I'm working on a new method for the 747 and then will put it on the 767 when it works.
Could you get in touch with me : support at fsipanel.com

I will send you soon a special version to test.

Regards,

J-P
