No FSiPanel in MSFS2024 toolbar

Hello,

What am I doing wrong? I do not see FSiPanel in MSFS2024 toolbar.

Steps taken after installing FSiPanel 2024 v1.0.0.9:

1st try
- Start MSFS2024 v1.2.8.0
- Select Fenix A320 and KBOS
- Start flight and click- on Ready to fly
- Fenix starts with engines running
- Start FSiPanel 2024 v1.0.0.9
- Selected KBOS
- Selected RWY 04R
- Selected Long Final
- Clicked-on Move AC
- Received pop-up warning message "WASM module not found, did you restart MSFS? Refer to User Manual chapt 15 for manual installation.
- Unable to find WASM in chapt 15, however, did find FSIPANEL inside green box in chapt 18.
- Found installation FSIPANEL in C:\Users\Bill\AppData\Local\FSiPanel 2024
- Copied FSIPANEL to F:\MSFS2024\Community
- Exited MSFS2024 and FSiPanel 2024

2nd try
- Start MSFS2024 v1.2.8.0
- Fenix starts with engines running
- Start FSiPanel 2024 v1.0.0.9
- Selected KBOS
- Selected RWY 04R
- Selected Long Final
- Clicked-on Move AC
- Received pop- up "Please make sure to open the FSiPanel In- Game Module in the MSFS toolbar...."
- Verified I do NOT see the FSiPanel in MSFS 2024 toolbar
- Clicked-on Acknowledge
- Per the pop-up if module not shown, please restart MSFS.
- Exited MSFS2024 v1.2.8.0 and FSiPanel 2024 v1.0.0.9

3rd try
- Start MSFS2024 v1.2.8.0
- Fenix starts with engines running
- Start FSiPanel 2024 v1.0.0.9
- Selected KBOS
- Selected RWY 04R
- Selected Long Final
- Clicked- on Move AC
- Received same pop- up "Please make sure to open the FSiPanel In- Game Module in the MSFS toolbar...."
- Clicked-on Acknowledge
- Verified again I do NOT see the FSiPanel in MSFS 2024 toolbar

Note: I noticed during initial FSiPanel installation that the install configuration showed purchase from: Steam. My MSFS 2024 was purchased from Store.

I'm having the same issue

I think this is going to fix it...
on Install, it listed an incorrect location for my community folder...
C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024\Packages

When in fact it is located at:
C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community

There were two folders sitting in there for fsi panel, try moving those to the correct community folder location

- Moved FSIPANEL from F:\MSFS2024\Community to C:\Users\Bill\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community
- Start MSFS2024 v1.2.8.0
- Fenix starts with engines running
- Start FSiPanel 2024 v1.0.0.9
- Verified I do NOT see the FSiPanel in MSFS 2024 toolbar
- FSiPanel 2024 v1.0.0.9 is frozen until Resource Monitor is used to End Process

Hi,

Usually this problem is due to either a move of the community folder, a corrupted UserCfg.opt file or if you install Steam edition and later XBOX for example and then you have registry entries for both version.

What you should look at is the UserCfg.opt file for MSFS 2024, this file will contain location of the community folder, FSiPanel is using this MSFS official entry to install its 2 modules. If the location is wrong there, files won't be installed at the right place and you will have this issue.

I just released 1.0.0.10, please try the following:

- Go to SETUP / Troubleshooting
- Check your Community folder location and click on CHANGE to update it.
- Module will be installed if needed-

Make sure to restart MSFS if it was running.

FSiPanel 2024 works OK as advertised after uninstalling FSiPanel 2024 v1.0.0.9 and installing FSiPanel v1.0.0.10. Able to configure my FSiPanel's Community Folder: F:\MSFS2024\Community.
