after landing flow - apu not starting (pmdg 737 series)

not sure if i am doing something wrong but the apu just won't start during the after-landing flow. i can select either apu on or apu off but neither one actually starts the apu. everything else appears to be working as it should except for the apu.

i am on msfs'20 and i am simply hitting f6 once to get the menu to appear and then i select an option with my mouse. any advice would be appreciated.

I need to check it, it can be a bug, we had it on 2024 and I corrected it.
I will check it and it should be fixed on next update.

unfortunately, it's still not working for me. i have tested on the 600 / 700 / 800 variants. my sequence is, load in and let fsipanel put me on short final. i run the approach and land, exit the runway and hit f6 on my keyboard. i am presented with 4 options apu on / apu off / restart training / other scenario. i select apu on and fsipanel goes through and does everything, except for turning the apu on. not sure what i am doing wrong.
