MSFS goes black, when FSI is running

Post by Meleman »

Hello!
I have a problem with FSI Panel. 3 Monitors.

When FSI Panel is running and the interface is connected, and I then launch another app, e.g., Chrome, MSFS disappears into the background (but fully visible)

When I click on MSFS again, MSFS windows goes to a black screen. (but MSFS still running)

If I click an app to the foreground on the other monitor, I see MSFS again, but I can't click it again because the screen goes black again.
However, I can click with the mouse on the black screen if I've memorized the correct position of the click spot beforehand. This only happens when using FSI Panel. Does anyone have a solution?

MSFS's behavior regarding background and foreground seems to be completely reversed.

Best regards,
Peter

Hi,

Thank you for your message,
I cannot visualize what the issue is ?

You have MSFS 2024 on one monitor and FSiPanel on another monitor correct?

Hi J-P,

thx for your quick reply.

I hoped, that you have an quick fix....

Unfortunately, your suggestion didn't help. I'll keep looking into it.
It also happened when I stopped running MSFS on the main monitor.
Now I only have one monitor connected and am currently testing. So far, it's running without any problems.
I'll let you know when I know more.

Best regards,
Peter

Hi Peter,

I'm really surprised by this issue.
I recently had something a bit similar where the sim was getting focus automtically and I found that COUATL was giving this issue.

I went on task manager and killed anything COUATL, then my issue was fixed, not sure if in your case that would help but you could give it a try.
