Deviation from centreline issues

Post by bolandam@sky.com »

Loving the product but I've had a couple of issues with centreline discrepencies recently - YSSY 34L reported between 7-9m right of centreline when I was almost perfectly on it.
And Male airport in the Maldives has the taxiway as the runway, so reports you being 10m+ off centreline.
Both are using the stock runway scenery in MSFS, not custom ones.

Not sure if this is the right place to report these - apologies if not.

Thanks,
Andy

Hi Andy,

Yes this is the right place.
The issue is due to the fact that Navigraph runway coordinates are updated every month while ASOBO stock database is still the same, giving some errors. I'm trying to find a new way to compute the position based on the simulator (ASOBO) coordinates and see if we have correct results.

Cheers,
