Small issue using WINWING FCU

Post by Lennard78 »

Hi J. P.,

Since I use my Winwing FCU for Fenix, I keep getting the message 'error/please turn off Scrolling Acceleration in the EFB' when my aircraft is ready, even though that setting is actually off (see screenshot). I can only correctly use FSIPanel then by quickly manually switching this setting back and off again for 4-5 times before it is recognized as 'off', and quickly setting some minimum altitude manually in the FCU otherwise the Fenix sinks to the ground during preps.

This workaround does work, but it is a bit tedious to repeat it for every time when opening FSIPanel. Is the problem on my side, or is a fix possible so that at least the Scrolling Acceleration in Off position is recognized?

Regards,
Lennard

Hi,

I do not have this FCU, difficult for me to replicate.

FSiPanel is working with the standard MSFS setup, any hardware can then interfere and cause issues.

I will have to look at it with some more documentation.

Cheers,

Hi,

Difficult for me to adapt to all kind of hardware available without having a copy of it.
I need to ask WinWing for information about the product to see if something is feasable.

Hi,

I received my Winwing FCU and have no issues with it and FSiPanel.
Do you have latest firmware on the FCU ?

I also have this issue , with wingwing A320 FCU.
Allthough i did not know it was that hardware making the problem.

Do you have the latest firmware on your FCU ?
I have received mine, no the mini though and eveything runs smoothly.
Can you check if you have a firmware update available in SimApp Pro

Yes not sure why it works perfectly on some systems and not on others. I can't male FSiPanel compatible with all hardware.

On Setup/Fenix you will find an option for Wingwin, if you tick it, you will have to manually set the values in the FCU before the approach.

Fenix + Wingwin FCU has worked just fine until now.

Altitude is not set on FCU ( error setting FCU ). Scrolling is off.
If I check Fenix + Wingwing in FSIpanel it does not sense that IAS and alt is set on FCU as asked, and just keeps on "working".
