Hello everyone.
I've been using the app for about 3-4 months now.
I have a couple of issues that I couldn't figure out by myself.
I usually fly the DA62 for fun and I enjoy landings at sunset in assorted airports around the globe.
However, I noticed the following behaviors:
1. The airplane is never aligned with the LOC, usually shifted to the right and it never corrects itself. Crabbing is visually perceived even with low/no winds. When I disconnect the AP, it tends to roll right as if it was over-trimming to compensate for something. I found a workaround for this behavior which is moving the rudder pedals to both sides with the AP still engaged.
2. The altitude is never right when I move the acft to a location (short or long final). I have to wait a few seconds playing with the throttle until the altitude is corrected, sometimes it is off by 200ft or more. There is a noticeable constant alt drop, I cannot wait too long as the airplane doesn't behave well if the alt drops below the preset hold alt.
3. I usually get an EGPWS TERRAIN advisory even flying the GS with AP engaged in APR mode. I had to turn the audio for alerts all the way down.
This is the most annoying issue, I see the standard version has two EGPWS failures that can be simulated, but I never activated them.
I was thinking about upgrading to see if I could get rid of issue 3 at least, but I don't see any feature in the advanced edition that could help me with the DA62.
Any help is appreciated, perhaps I am missing something about how the app is supposed to work.
Thanks!

Hi Erick,
Thank you for your message.
Let me check that and come back to you.
If you fly General Aviation, as you said Advanced edition will not bring anything to the game, standard is the one to use.
Regards,
J-P

Hi,
Thank you, I ran some tests and found an issue with the altitude setting on the autopilot panel, probably due to a change of logic on general aviation.
I worked on a fix, running the last tests and will push the update.

Great, thanks J-P.
Did you find anything on the EGPWS terrain issue?
See below SS I captured today.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to understand my issues and try to help me out.
I got the app updated and ran some more tests today.
It seems to be working better now.
The TERRAIN issue is something that may need some additional try-outs and testing to figure out.
I probably had Baro already covered because I usually start on gnd, and check the altimeter for consistency against the expected rwy elevation. That setting doesn't seem to change after the reposition of the acft.
The most interesting thing is that when I do an appr using the MSFS flight planner the TERRAIN alert is not triggered:
I believe it could be something related to the EGPWS logic expecting some parameters that are not being set as we skip some steps going straight to the appr. Something could be missing in order to allow it to properly process the ldg. As you said, it could be related to the GPS, but even setting it up as shown below (which is the same procedure I do for the MSFS planner appr), the TERRAIN msg still happens with FSIPanel, only.
Thanks again for your help.
