Landing Rate Monitor

Hello. I have googled this but can't find an answer, so hopefully some kind soul here will be able to help...

I have noticed that the landing rate (in FPM) is consistently much higher in Landing Rate Monitor (LRM) that in the FSiPanel Landing Reports. For example, I have just completed a landing in the Fenix a319 and LRM shows a rate of -394 (hard) while FSiPanel shows -197 (Nice Landing). This is always the case for me but I don't know why. I like to think that my landings aren't that bad but LRM suggests that they are.

Hi,

Well I guess it depends how and when the vertical speed is recorded.
in FSiPanel, the rate of descent is recorded exactly when MSFS detects aircraft on ground.
