I have struggled with good landings for a long time. FSI panel is an absolute must have for those wanting to fly their simulator as accurately as possible. Being able to practice those areas where we are weak over and over very quickly, leads to accelerated improvement in every area that I’ve worked on. I don’t hype very many products, but this one is one of the top on my list.
I have not experienced crashes or freezes and find Fix and Approach section enjoyable. A few issues please consider
– Font sizes are not consistent and differ on pages that lose text appearance when the window is resized.
– Landing report page cannot scroll to see info below, and duplicates to next page when window stretched.
– In Setup page selection at Menu, planes could be set in a sub menu with Aircraft labelled as the heading so pmdg fenix etc could be set under Aircraft
If you want to practice your approaches and landing to any airport in the world without having to go through the hassle of slewing the aircraft to the start location, then this is the app for you. The only thing to remember is that if you want to practice in your Fenix A320 or your PMDG 738 (or other complex aircraft), you’ll need to buy the FsiPANEL Advanced edition, which will cleverly set your FMS/FMCU with the correct data. For practicing your approaches and landings, this product is essential.
I try a tool like FSIpanel in the last and was looking for that again for mfs 2024 to try some landing and this tool was perfect working with fenix and PMDG the Best
Great product – love it 😎👍Also love your tutorials on YouTube. Can you do a tutorial on the PMDG 737 800 on how to use it also on a regular flight from cold startup at gate to an ILS landing using FSiPanels unique abilities to help as a co pilot automating some of the flight procedures?
Really a great tool to practice landings and approaches… Need a bit fixing the way to locate planecand interact with the planes to setting up the approaches but minimal things….
I love this add-on. It is very useful to hone one’s basic flying skills such as pattern work, approaches, and landings. The program provides feedback about the safety and quality of the landing, a fun way to make progress. I have used it in the pmdg 737 and with the default Cessna 172 so far. There are many features I have not yet explored and I look forward to trying them soon. Designed by a pilot, this product will not disappoint you. If you connect the program while in flight, upon landing it will provide data about how well you performed. I have not noticed any degradation in the sim of smoothness when using the product.
This is a must if you wan’t to nail star arrivals, approaches and landings without doing circuit training. Perfect if you don’t have time for a whole flight, but then you still can put in some landings with your preferred aircraft – and get the landings rated . Lots of options and tweaking tools. Highly recommended!
I would like to setup fms takeoff and ca ke you make flightm a little easier to go to desent or star. I like fspanel quite cool I’ve been flying fs off and on for 30 years. I like xp flight characteristics better than ms is easier to use. I flew prepaid until 2020 came out but it sucked.
I know keeping up with MSFS 2024 bets is hard to do as a developer. FS Panel worked fine until I went to the beta SU 5 and then it did not work. I will wait until the program gets updated. But it is a great program
All works great. I was surprised to see I needed the premium version to be able to use this with PMDG, so I had to upgrade after only purchasing the standard version as PMDG is all I fly.
FSI is awesome. Great for landing practice on the scenarios. i had a little trouble setting up the FMC data for the PMDG but was able to get it. Works great on MD 80 as well. Nice product I recommend recommended.
